Camera woes over the 24th

So, we went to Draper fireworks on Saturday and we took our new Sony Cybeshot DSC-T100 camera. This thing is sweet! 8.1 MP, 5X optical zoom, ISO is way high for shooting in the dark, this thing is top of the line for point and shoot right now, about $350 - 400.

Anyways, I had it in my back pocket while we were there, no problems, got tons of pics of Noah riding a horse with Collette making sure he didn't fall off. We then go over to George Greenwood's house to see the fireworks up close while eating Leatherby's ice cream cones. Good times.

When we get home I keep telling myself that I left the camera in the car. Next day, no camera. I tear apart the car, look in all of our bags and nothing. I convince myself that I dropped it in the Draper Rehab parking lot across from the Greenwood house. Sunday night I drive over there and of course no camera, but also no broken to pieces, run over camera either. I go into the Rehab center and they are shut down, but I go in anyways and the nurses station is open. They haven't seen any camera.

I come back the next day and no camera, so I leave a Lost sign that I had made with them.

I am so mad, we just lost all this money in the camera, plus a 4 GB Pro Duo card, plus the case, plus the memories in the photos.

I decide to buy another one on Ebay, I look around and see a red one that is ending soon and bid on it. I didn't feel right about the auction, the seller didn't put anything on the listing except for a stock photo and stock info on the camera. But feedback was good, so I bid at the last second and won it for $310 shipped. I payed with PayPal right away and though I got a deal, but still, deep down was wondering if it was legit.

The next day I get an email that the auction was deleted and they suspected fraud on that seller's account and to submit a claim with PayPal if I had paid for the item. I submit a claim and and freaking out, it says it only covers up to $200 bucks, so I would still be out $110.

So, $400 for the first camera and a minimum of $110 for the other and I am so pissed abou this. Collette is so nice, she is obviously upset but she knows I just messed up.

Anyways, PayPal emails and says that all my money will be refunded, so I was stoked!

Then Collette goes to work on Wednesday and George Greenwood comes in with our camera. He found it on the grass in his yard.

So, this is my most recent crazy story, hoped you liked it, I didn't, but am very happy with the ending.
